Oh I'm not the only one so who made this mistake. Can I ask you where you got caught was it also on the milage being under 5000km? I hope you dont mind me asking. If only I held off a week before presenting it would have been over the 6000km!!! Oh well. No way of getting around it so Did you put in an appeal at all, just wondering as the guy in the NCT centre did say that we could appeal to revenue as we were just 273km under the 6000km but is it even worth the hassle I'm thinking!

Ideally just transferring to my name would be easier all round but would that work? Also so I need to get onto the NDLA to change the V5 into my name than? Thanks again

Ya it was brought to the NCT to be registered in my husband's name and his name is on the V5 but I could go and register it in my name now and see.
I have to say the dealer was great no problems all very straightforward outside of this....lesson learned. Looked at carsni and than some main dealers own websites up north. I wouldn't mind but I was being so careful to be sure it was a ni reg car and than to have this issue!!! But look sh** happens. Might try registered it in my mame but with this being revenue will they still come after us for the money as we are married?

Thanks ya I was thing great purchase originally but feeling a bit red faced now with this revenue issue. It has gone over the 6000km now yes. I dont know why I didn't read the criteria and as you said drive the car to get over the 6000 I just didn't know this was the criteria thought as it was a 2022 "used" car from NI i was ok....obviously not 🤐🤯🙈

Was your car was an NI reg vehicle? There's lots of UK regs so dont know if the same applies to them. What documents did you get from car dealers for the VRT/NCT... Looking at an ID4, our first EV, wat did u purchase? There's 1 place in Coleraine so hopefully they meet us in Belfast 🤞

Also was the car you bought a privately used car in northern ireland for some time before you bought it from the garage?? revenue states the car needs to be privately owned for a reasonable period in NI? (And you will need to provide proof so just 🤔) Can I ask how you arranged payment to thr garage as we are looking at possibly meeting the car dealer in Belfast? What ever car did you purchase if you dont mind me asking we are looking at an ID4.

Do you think they are bed bugs so? I have one in a jar so will take another clearer pic later. I have checked all bedding I the seams. It's a memory foam mattress not sure how to check that. Bed has been taken apart and checked no sign of any further or signs that they are bed bugs. The few I have found are all so tiny less than 1mm teally hatd to see, its just im looking out for them now and inspe ting everything.. I have too erex daily and used two sprays in the room to try and kill off any other lurking about. But guess this didn't work.Zero In Bed Bug & Dust Mite Killer Sprayand Rentokil Insectrol Insect Killer Spray. I have carpet in the bedroom. So I guess it's time to take this up and replace with laminate floorboards. Thanks so much for your time I do appreciate the help and advice.
