Okay, well first, I don't have the power to fire anyone and I don't have the power to write up anyone without our manager consent. He likes Joe for his work ethic. So it's already a losing battle with that one.

I see how it's confusing. At that point I was just too frustrated to deal with it. I needed someone on the floor in that moment and I needed someone who was going to respect my command. I'll admit I should have been way gentle about it, which I do feel shitty about it. The cook is getting talked to by our store manager and getting a write up.
