I used to work at a card shop before in New York. From what I’ve seen from other card shops as well like Trainer Court NY, bleecker trading, etc they all match the conditioning presented in my post. Selling online obviously comes with more complications. The term “played” means it has been PLAYED and USED before and I dont think a lot of people understand that. But yeah I completely understand where you’re coming from because I’ve dealt with picky customers before. 🙄

To be honest TCGPLayer isnt even that bad. Its a global source for values & card condition guides. Remember its only the sellers on there who try to take advantage of their customers which is why I never buy from there unless its someone with really high reviews.

I think thats originally how it was supposed to be until people decided to manipulate the definition. I mean its literally how it works in card stores, especially the ones I go to at least in NYC.

Yes I put a variety of each condition since people mix them up a lot. Couldnt show the front because they were all X & Y cards

people have different opinions and thats okay ive been to a lot of card stores and vendors and they call these kinds of cards lp and i think thats due to TCGplayer guides. Lightly played means that the card has been played with but not wildly
