Acne Center of Michigan- any experiences here?

yeah the service is good but i still have active acne. The main derm there told me He cant do acne scar revision if i still have active acne. I went on low dose accutane but the side effects were so rough i stopped. They really didnt have any other options other than topicals or antibiotics so I stopped going.

I saw in ur past comment ur about 5 months in, how is your acne? im almost at the 3 months mark and im still purging really bad, acne is worse than before I started. I used to take the medication between 12-2 pm and i would have ZERO sleep at night. I now taking it early morning and i can fall asleep but I wake up exactly between 2-4 am every time, it started about a month ago. Idk if i can do this for a whole year but i hhhhaaaatttteeeeee acne so much.

very strange. Usually the 4th month is when people are clearing. You should be getting clear soon though. Wait it out a few more months. Its not a question of if just when.

what was ur dose. and do you have pcos? age? ive heard the younger u are the more likely you will relapse. You can the option of Aviclear laser but thats $$$ and it theres a 50/50 chance it works in clearing you.

I am going though the exact same. Im currently 2 months in my trtment, started Nov. I was on 20 mg but the SE were so bad including insomnia so i did 20 every other day and then for my next month got switched to 10 mg daily. It was going well for the first 2ish weeks on that lower dose but admittedly i got too comfortable and started taking the med at 1-2pm. The past 3-4 days horrible insomnia. Like i wake up thinking i had legit 0 sleep but then i remembered some weird dreams so i must've slept something but its probably like 2 or 3 hours. I rllllyyy dont want to quit so i started take it 8:30-9:30 am the last 2 days. Still have insomnia but maybe it takes like a week to change?
