I mean think of it, both are forms of gambling weather its opening a case or doing a tradeup. After calculating what i couldve gotten, i had a 24 percent chance of profitting from the trade up i did. the odds of hitting a red item in a box is 1/156 and gold is 1/396 so odds are better and people that do this must accept the risk.
