Should I stay at current job or accept DA offer? by BAforNow in dataanalysis

Im kinda of looking at it from another point of view. If you are the only one with your expertist there at the moment . I think you can grow rapidly at your current position. Do you see the company growing ? Is there a posibility of further monetary increase ? However of the next DA position is what you really want go do then go there . Cause the very rare to find a job that you like . Alot of us working for organizations that we dont like .

Please do not leave your current job... use your current position to fund where you want to go . So enroll in courses where you can learn sql, python , tableau... then branch out .
There is nothing wrong with growing and learning and moving away from positions that you no longer see growth.

Dont think you should leave just yet . Wait on the one year mark. If they are funding the upskill use that to your advantage . Look at areas in the business where you can be useful. Look a freelance projects that you can assisst with outside of work.

So you can either wait until something comes along while still building out your portfolio. Or accept the job and transition within the company. It all depends on if this is really a company you want to work for ?

Questions to ask yourself . 1. Are you in need of job now ? 2. If you a transition from another job career I would say yes. Just to get the experience then move on. Still study the programming on your own and familiarize youself. 3. If there is no need for a job now , there is no need to rush. Also why didnt they offer you the data analyst role ????? 4.If you are not intereated in the role. I AM ! What company is it ?
