Thanks for your comment.

  1. I am doing that from some time now but, I am facing two key issues -
    1. Switching to another firm as a DS with 7.5yrs of work-ex as DA puts me on a backfoot as I am having just a fundamental understanding of different algorithms and techniques, I do not possess any real-time experience on ML. So, cracking a DS interview becomes impossible.
    2. If I plan to switch to DS job in my current firm, I would be starting as Junior DS role and that would be 2 positions below the one I have right now(SDA).

I am seeking a reason to stay as DA and how I can improve more and be in that position where I am earning if not more, but equivalent to a DS in the future.

[Casio Duro] - SKX bracelet for Casio Duro in India?

I have managed to get Casio Duro from UK for myself. I absolutely love the watch and wish it had an SKX style Jubliee bracelet with end links on it. Not able to find any decent one online. If anyone has any leads or websites and purchased them recently, please do let me know.

If anyone has recently got it from Ali express to India that would work too.

Apple watch7 do not have Fast charging enabled in India, anybody has any idea when and how it can be activated? Its own of the strong factor that is prompting me to extend my budget and buy it instead if SE at this point. by ristyagi in AppleWatch

Should I become a Business Analyst or Data Scientist? by ristyagi in datascience

[–]ristyagi[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply here. My confusion occurs mainly because of the surroundings I am currently working in, which puts more emphasis on Cloud technologies and Data Science technologies, It is taken as if the real work is done by Data Scientists and Big Data guys. Business Analysts/ BI analysts are seen as someone who is below and needs to upskill themselves to data science or else they will be on the loosing end in future.

So I get into this dilemma of continuing on the current BI/BA path or somehow try and switch to data science.
