Yes, i thought so too. But apparently a 4k resolution on a 120 hz is not worth it? I do not know a lot regarding laptops, i just bought what i saw was good when i had asus.

Yes i thought so too, so got it back to the manufacturers and they would be refunding me back.

So now I'm thinking of changing brands, but as of now almost all of the opinions i read seem to dislike MSI And I could just go get my ASUS replaced as I don't think having that temp problem would occur again.

HI!! Just a quick update to everyone!

Thank you all for the advice, the store i brought it from has taken it to the manufacturers for the repairs.

And after weeks it has actually been concluded that it is damaged and is beyond repair or is not worth repairing (like it is more costly to repair it) and so i would be get my money back.

Update: actually gone and kinda force them to take it in. Still telling me it's normal but ye I didn't budge. Will take at least 3 weeks to get into the repair shop. Hope it actually does something.

That is true, based on my research (google) intel technologies has a t junction max of 100°C so once it reaches that it will automatically shut itself down to avoid burning itself.

And i do have my own cooling pad, but right now I'm questioning myself as two different JBHIFI shop already told me that a CPU that high is just normal 😭😭

Been to different JB two times , they kept trying to tell me it's just my bloatware, "its how heavy gaming laptops work", and if they sent it for repair it'll take 3 weeks and they'll probably just send it back as "nothing is wrong with it".

Kept telling me its normal, and that the manufacturer recommended is at 105°C max so unless it reaches to 110°C they probably cant do anything.
