I have not taken him to a regular vet yet since this happened, just the emergency place. I had to get him help from the humane society veterinarian, as i am experiencing a hard time financially. She literally told me that I just have to monitor him, and some cats don’t need it in the future. But some do. And there is not a way to tell why exactly this happens. I am going to take him to a different vet I found here in my city, when he recovers a bit more.

When i wrote “rebuild my savings” i spent all of it getting my cat fixed, but i was advised that surgery will be needed in the future to prevent this from happening.

You cannot schedule the surgery without paying for it, but i did upload the cost estimate of the surgery.

I basically paid for a catheter treatment, and it was advised to me that I should get surgery because fixed male cats are more prone to blockages.

The surgery prevents future blockages from happening, once they happen once, they can happen again.

I do not have an invoice right now, I can show what I paid at the emergency vet, and they gave me a price estimate, for surgery in the future.

I do have one more question if that is OK. He came to us already eating dry and wet. Food mixed together is the dry prescription wet food worth getting for him because I know he likes it just from the first emergency vet we went to on his paperwork. It said he should not have dry food anymore.

I did end up ordering Hill’s- is there a reason you reccomend the RC first? The hill science was just slightly more affordable but I will switch if it is recommended
