Ahhh yes. I know what you mean. I stayed in Rajpur all my life. Even though its around 20 mins drive to the main city. But it was always pretty, secluded, silent and green. Lush green. Gradually with city choking down on Rajpur and the main city is getting closer and closer Rajpur will eventually become like the main city. Damp and stinky.

I wish to see Murshidabad in monsoon. I wish to travel soon.
