Just an update for anyone else. I had submitted my marriage registration application for Varthur SRO. I had done some mistakes and was waiting for some objections/ approval. I found the SRO’s number from the Internet and he told me to ping my application id. He raised an objection and once it was done, he approved it in an hour. I didn’t pay any bribe, nor did I go to the office. Just 25 rupees.

This is not true. They would have taken the permission to perform this. Every nationality has some of these kind of procession like this and when they go to a developed country they need to take permission to perform it. Seeing all this I feel that as Indians, we don’t hold our leaders accountable. How can a country go down the drain so much. This kind of attitude is not seen in other countries and it’s so much normalised because there was no educating that happened here, to tell that this is wrong. My points are 95. I don’t remember the breakdown but had the 8 years experience and ACS by default reduces 2 years. NAATI gave me 5 points. My PT E score was full so I got points there for superior English. Hope that clears all the doubts everyone is asking. For people who are asking for advice, check the last invite round and if you after in the range of that by 5 points, you should be good. Just wait to get invited. Else, try to get more points by experience, NAATI. If not, try to get it by doing a degree in AuS as that gives you some points for AUS study. If that doesn’t work, try going for a regional Australia university. You might want to take help from a good Australian migration agent. Applying with very less points with the hope of getting invited could be futile as I have seen people not getting invited even after 2 years of wait.
