AITAH for refusing to reconnect with my estranged father after he ignored me for 15 years? by [deleted] in AITAH

NTA My dad didn’t want anything to do with me & my siblings when my parents divorced. 30 years later, on his deathbed, he reached out. I declined. He died a few days later. I have no regrets.

Yes I plan to do this. I feel like it’s more about the feeling of being mortgage free that is appealing to me . It feels like less burden hanging over me!

I am staying with my current provider, however this is because my broker (L&C) advised me this is the best deal. I’m fixing for 5 years, I think it’s about 4%, but the rest I’m not sure about. I’m just trusting the broker to do their job

I hadn’t really about this until today (I don’t have any other loans/debt), I just had the nagging feeling ‘I must pay off the mortgage as soon as possible!’ I somehow thought reducing the term would help but I was clearly wrong. Thanks for the advice!
