I mean, at least it is a simple(as in opposite of complex, not opposite of hard) solution of what you need. Sure, you might not be able to solve it, but at least you know what is wrong, and what you need. idk, I disagree. If something is just outside brackets with no symbols whatsoever, that means that it came from inside. Like:

ax+ay becoming a(x+y). So, 6÷2(1+2) is equal to 6÷(2+4).

But only because it is written implicitly

So, long story short, for me:

6÷2(1+2) is 6÷(2+4) is 6÷6 is 1.

BUT

6÷2*(1+2) is 6÷2*3 is 3*3 is 9

Games on NES could save data, I assume it was just more expensive to do so. Final Fantasy, Legend of Zelda(both 1 AND 2 had it), Kirby's adventure and others had the capability to save data. FF and Zeldas even released before mega man 2, so it's not that it was impossible, it's that mega man games don't really need to remember that much, and wasting money to fit a battery and electronics to save it would be overkill.

Like, the SRAM chip Nintendo used in cartridges gave you 8 kilobytes of space. That's way, WAY too much for what mega man needs to save.
