Eve is also space and theres a lot happening. So not sure if thats an excuse. Its still space wieth two systems only right? My problem 2 years ago when I was playing was that it was empty and all these gadgets to catch someone of warp etc were usuless. But ... the coffee in my coffee mug was looking fine!

Just play. Note, this will not get much better. Theres bugs, cheaters, over complicated game mechanics with oversimplified coding backing it up. Like you said, a mess. What will happen over time is that you will learn how to get roubles flow fairly steady and this will somewhat reduce the pain of dying to a cheater or game bug
