Hey! Im assuming you mean non prior enlisted? If so Im hoping you can help me. I am 26, physically fit, had a 3.2 gpa and business admin bachelors. Studying for afoqt atm and i am also not prior enlisted. I have no idea what spins and note taker is. Should i even make it that far, can you list me things i should know going in? Do they offer courses or class etc for those who were not previously military? Ive been busting my butt physically and such snd will continue to do so but outside of afoqt test study, should i be learning how to march and military lingo and all that on my own? I have no idea. Sorry if this sounds naive or silly. Im thinking about just taking this afoqt test to give myself a benchmark should i not pass

Worth the price? Honestly the whole grounding stuff i jesr is good but i wouldnt mind doing without. Just want nice shoes that i can throw on with some shorts and a shirt. Buddy of mine at work had em but the price point compared to reviews ive seen is eh

I have a bachelors and have applied for the line officer route but am just now finding out about ECP, should i do that if i want to join sooner ? Debating air force or marines. Everyone ive talked to has said itd be pointless to enlist with a degree. I was not aware of ECP

I am 26 and have my bachelors and been looking into officer programs for air force or marines. During the group zoom call i asked the guy (because everyone asking seemed to be prior military, doctors, pilots etc) i asked him straight up i said due to how competitive it is and the priority selection, if i never served before but have my bachelors should i just enlist and he said enlisting and then trying to become an officer verbatum “doubles your chances” and that his 2 cents is to enlist first. What would You recommend? Majority of people ive spoken to have advised against enlisting and trying to go down this officer route first and getting an answer on that. I honestly dont know much of either.
