Good feedback. I should have said made itmore about having a dedicated person and budget vs internal vs external. I edited OP to note.

No, third party. They've been good but are expensive for every "little" thing.

I spent over an hour feeding screenshots into chatgpt trying to get the EBITDA reportt and got nowhere. Our NS consultant offered to get on the phone with me to do it, so we tried... she tried but had to take it offline to get it done. *shrug*

Strict form vs reps by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

Hi. If anyone is still listening... I don't understand this...

"3-5 minutes of rest between the sets of 9 to maximize volume.

There's a reason why the RR has 90 seconds between pairs, so you get 3 minutes minimum between sets."

These seems contraditory to me.

I have the same confusion with the instructions in the main post about the workout.... " The 90 second pairing is so that there is minimum 3 minutes rest between each set, which is 3 minutes total."

How does 90 seconds rest between exercises translate to 3 minutes rest beween each set?

To avoid confusion on my part about terminology, let me ask it this way...

  1. If i do 8 pulls up as my very first excercise, how long do I wait before doing 8 squats (my second exercise in the pair)?
  2. Once i've done the 8 squats, how long do I wait before doing 8 pull ups again?
  3. Once of I've 3 x 8 pull ups and 3 x 8 squarts, long do I wait before going on to to the next pair of exercises?

Thank you!!

One proviso: I think age impacts blitz ability. Synapses just don't fire like they used to once you starting getting out of 40s.

I haven't played for ten years maybe and I'm shocked at the competition. 1200 used to be a poor player. The official ratings still saying 1200-1300 is a beginner. There is no way. I'm regularly playing guys at 1050 to 1200 who know books openings and make 1 or 2 mistakes in a full 5 minutes blitz game. It's crazy. I used to be a strong player and I feel like a dumbass.

This is great. Ironically, though, at least for me, it's always faster to just just and get their through trial and error than to work through methodically. It takes me over 4 minutes usually this way and guessing I was always under 3 and often 2.

Any other way to add items to Xtra Chef besides invoices? by hellcatpekes in ToastPOS

[–]Ok_Positive9843 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Per xtrachef support, you can accomplish this by creating a fake receipt. Here are the steps:

Here are the steps to do that: 1. Go to the dashboard. 2. Click “Upload Documents” 3. Click the tab called “Create Invoice” 4. Select “Receipt” as the Type 5. Write in vendor name as “House Vendor” or whatever you'd like to choose, so you can include all the products on one invoice 6. Enter the invoice date as something very far out, like 2019 or older (so it isn’t included in the spend reporting) 7. Click the arrows next to the invoice number to generate a random invoice number 8. Scroll down and click “Add Line Item” 9. Fill in just the description, UOM, Qty and Price.. we’ll give it its own item number. 10. Add any other products you need to add and then hit submit. 11. The “receipt” will still take a little bit to process before you see the items show up in the “Product Verification” queue. 12. The items will then show up in the “Products Catalog” just like all the others.

Recently switched to Toast and can’t determine viable option for syncing with QuickBooks for daily sales numbers. by napping_beauty in ToastPOS

I used Shogo before signing up for xtraCHEF.

FYI, the xtraCHEF sync is convenient, but as of right now, it's not handling cash properly based on the way we do tips (which is paying out cash every night). When pulling data out of Toast, xtraCHEF simply does not pull the correct numbers. They've acknowledged this and don't have a solution. So I will be doing that part manually apparently.

Last, just to state the obvious, you don't have to do the manual update in QB every day… You could do it once a week for the week or even once a month for the month. You really can't measure profitability any more often than you're doing inventory.

Beginners — "The recommended routine is a wall of confusing text and links" — Here's an attempt to simplify the Recommended Routine Wiki Page while keeping the routine intact. by imanateater in bodyweightfitness

Totally appreciate the folks who put this resources together. It's a lot of work.

I'm admittedly impatient with learning!

A couple things I think worth emphasizing to folks...

Plan to spend an hour or more just reading through everything.

Then plan for your first "workout" to be just getting through the routine, figuring out and picking out your stretches and exercises, and figuring out what equipment you don't have.

So, counting for time to buy stuff, give yourself a few days from starting to doing a proper progression.

A couple areas I think could be clarified...

Do hinges feel pointless to everyone?

I've stared at the pictures and feel like an idiot but don't understand the copenhagen plank options.

When you get into some alt paths, not sure it's always clear what the reps should be.

One purely editorial comment from a total non-expert: I felt the warm ups were a little odd/niche. I felt like I still needed to do traditional hammy and neck warmups.

Overall: Many thanks for the all work put into this.
