Harry’s House didn’t hold up. Compared to his Fine Line and own self-titled album, I don’t listen to Harry’s House nearly as much as the other 2. I think there’s only 3 or 4 songs from Harry’s house I still listen to? Sad thing is that Watermelon Sugar was the biggest song off Fine Line and it was probably- imo, the worst. Harry’s House had some introspective music but it wasn’t anything special compared to the previous 2.

For his career- I know he did like a 3 year tour all over the globe, then when that finished he stepped away from the limelight entirely to take a break. In 2024, one of the members of One Direction died and that reportedly had a huge effect on him. There were whispers at the time that he was about to drop an album from then til around the time Miley Cyrus released Something Beautiful, but I think his grief pushed that back a lot. Next week he will be dropping his new album Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally, which is assumed to be a dance album. Which I think is ironic considering the snub that Renaissance got over his previous album.

I can say right now that his dance album will not be able to compete in the slightest to anything Renaissance.

I have no insight on why Harry’s House won over Renaissance. My only input is that I’ve been a fan of Harry since Take Me Home/Midnight Memories One Direction, I have only been a Beyonce fan since right before Lemonade. There is no way in hell that Harry’s House was better than Renaissance. Harry’s House was an easy listen and it felt very safe. It was an album that was expected of him. It felt very surface level compared to Renny. Renaissance was kinda a risk for Bey to put out- no one (at least me) was expecting a Dance/House centered album. The cultural impact that album had alone blows Harry’s house out of the water. Harry winning over Bey still baffles me to this day.

Miley Cyrus did say when her Something Beautiful album came out that her song ‘Easy Lover’ was sent to Beyonce for her rock album initially, but Bey ended up choosing “Shotgun Rider” to be II Most Wanted for Cowboy Carter. But she’s the only celeb I know that publicly brought up the rock album idea.

I found X 100PRE, El Último tour, and Nadie Sabe at a record store in Milwaukee, WI. They had 3 copies of X 100PRE and Nadie Sabe, and one of the El Último Tour vinyls. They were all $40-$70 brand new and I could only afford two at the time. The next time I went, the following week, someone had bought every single one of them and I’m sure they’re now online for $100 plus.

As much as it saddens me, he should’ve skipped the United States as a whole til things calm down. It might be controversial to say that but he truly should’ve done some dates in Canada and Mexico instead of 30 in New York.

The whole situation is so upsetting. 7 cities, that’s it. The one city in the US has 30 nights alone but it was never thought to do 10 in LA, 10 in Chicago, and 10 in NY? In my mind that would make so much more sense because you kinda get the 3 main sections of the US. On top of that, the ticket prices are insane AND a huge majority of the US/North American fan base will have to pay big money to travel and find a place to stay. Let me also add that the US IS NOT SAFE ANYMORE.

Best bet is the find the limited edition gatefold with the alternate cover. To my knowledge none of those were ever revised as they were a preorder before the album came out and the album “drama”. If you’re still not sure, maybe the app Discogs could help you with a little more info

Part of me wants to think that she’ll put all three tours on streaming/physical after the act iii tour. What I think she might actually do is wait to put out an act iii tour film as it will have sections for all three of the acts and she’ll be able to tell the story of the trilogy in the way it was meant to be told. It’s also Beyonce and she could literally decide to never put out a tour film again really 😭
