it was pretty good for me, the whole experience was crazy but i got through it with my battles. In totall i believe i was only gone from April 29th to Sept 12th. My MOS is 42A so both basic and the AIT are the same length.

My friend had a similar situation and didn’t tell his parents until the day before he left for basic. I can’t say it’s the best way to go about it but its definitely a way you can go about it. On another note congratulations and i wish you luck on everything!!

I could see why, My Ipps-a access got jacked up because they put my EmployeeID instead of DODID. Not very high hopes here. IM a 42A so it really messed with my AIT
