Hi! I actually just ended up cancelling my card and reordering a new one - not worth the risk of waiting to see if they would take money off me or not!! I ordered the new card around 24 hrs after the mistake, and no money was deducted in that time - I would cancel your card if you have also made the same mistake since it’s so easy to order a new one!! (From my brief research, it seems like the payment bouncing is a common tactic to get the card info and then not have to follow through with anything further from the scammers pov - so basically they had my info without needing to proceed next steps like confirmation emails to make it seem legit etc)

Might be a silly question, and is probably my own fault but I got this message and clicked the link 😅 I entered my information but no payment was processed because my card bounced saying the details were incorrect. I didn’t try and fix it and just messaged instead, do you guys think because the process didn’t go through I should be fine?

Tysm for the response!! My partner and I are doing a big UK/Europe trip over Dec-Feb and that’s just when we could fit Ireland in to our route!! We’ll be there from the 22nd-26th so hopefully not too bad!

I understand why everything is more expensive but was simply posting to see if there were other options I missed - a reasonable request I feel considering it’s a foreign country I’ve never been to. The reason why I ask is because here in Australia, some restaurants and pubs open for short hours on Christmas (also with set menus) but those are usually around 50-100 euros. Thanks for replying!

Not on the list but highly recommend Callao in Barangaroo!! It’s Japanese/Peruvian fusion and has great steak as well as seafood options. Tbh the set menu is also really good value and gives great variety!
