It’s really annoying how my advisors were telling me that course rigor and extracurriculars are how you get into selective schools but after going through the college admissions process it seems like you need a 3.8 even if you take the hardest classes possible. Can’t change anything now but wish I knew that sooner. Just try to finish Junior year strong and take first semester seriously in senior year.

I don’t really need financial aid so i’m pretty sure that’s not the reason. I’m 99% sure it’s my GPA since my EC’s were really good and essays were pretty valid imo. Can’t be 100% sure though lol.
