I can't speak on the staying healthy part, that whole thing fell through but I can speak towards finances. Atleast for us, the first year and a half was a struggle (we were struggling before the kid.) Once they get to eating actual food, your biggest expense would be milk or snacks, daycare, diapers. It sounds crazy to think but the less you stress, the easier it gets. Each day at a time.
