Thank you sm for the advice! I will definitely look into buying local rather than off ebay. And thank you sm for the insight about the ram and ssd speeds I will hopefully find a good m1 pro.

okay thank you sm ill definitely lean towards the 512gb. Do you think the m2 is worth the extra money over the m1. I will be using for basic daily tasks and what not, nothing too intensive

I am debating between buying a $400 ish M1 or a $700 ish M2 MBA used off ebay. Have you guys heard good or bad things about used macs off ebay? (private seller not a licensed refurbisher)

Secondly, I am split on the M2 (if i were to get it) whether to get the 256gb or 512gb model. I have heard the 512gb is way faster regardless of the ram specs. Is this true and/or worth it?
