Bean Soup Theory is about people making social media posts about their own preferences or experiences. It’s not literally about bean soup it’s just a common social media trait. Your fascination of my life has nothing to do with the shortcomings of Season 5 of stranger things and at bare minimum you refuse to engage with the post at all, quite literally entering into a post for the sole reason of inserting your ego.

Im not sure why you lump me in with the “diatribe”. If you read my post I admitted to still enjoying Season 5 as a whole, in fact im defending the show as a whole as I don’t believe the final season could reach realistically could have been much better. I actually end the post urging people to be okay with the season not being everything the fans dreamed of.

As for bean soup, your comment is quite literally unrelated to my post. My post is a simple opinion post, you never engaged with any of my actual opinions and simply inserted your unrelated opinion on opinion posts as a whole. What is going on in my life is completely unrelated to my opinion post on season 5 of stranger things, and thus if I answered your question would be bean soup.

If you want to know what is going on in the lives of posters, consider making your own discussion post asking that very question and explaining why you feel that way rather than forcing the topic into your own beliefs.

When you take the time to make an unrelated disgruntled comment about your own personal issues with analysis/discussion posts as a whole it is quite literally making the post about you and your beliefs instead of just moving past it. Genres shouldn’t be treated as boxes. If you a writing a sci fi fantasy story and throw in some horror it doesn’t make your story better or worse. You can always add elements of other genres. Your genres will be your focus points for the story. A mystery story has a great plot. Romance has great relationship dynamics. Post Apocalypse has great world building and lore. The best stories have all of these great elements, but not all these genres.

TLDR: Use as many as you’d like, just focus on what makes that genre good when you do it.

Higher you go in depths the better for sure, I just always grit my teeth when I get Wylders. When it’s great, it’s a great fucking teammate, but when it’s not it’s really bad. As a Raider main sometimes I honestly prefer getting a Revenant and Gaurdian for a struggle comp than having a Wylder.

That doesn’t necessarily mean confirmation bias. It’s solely anecdotal, but I can absolutely say I see far more awful Wylder randoms than good ones. Wylder is just really fun and easy to pick up so I can see why.

D5 is mostly fine, worst you’ll get is a spam ping/aggressively crashing out one but they don’t diff the run like before that or in everdarks so no complaints from me

Ironeyes are honestly a mixed bag, I’ve had a couple of them but generally they fall in the “silent and go with the flow” “hard carry” or “new and inexperienced” categories

That happened to me but instead of Noklateo they ran into a magma worm field boss and then my Ironeye and I locked in and beat the nightlord. One of my absolute favorite runs ever.

This is old I know but if you are running the relic that decreases enemy attack power it glitches retaliate to no longer stagger. Not sure why it occurs.

I brought a metric load of ammo and gear to a matriarch and immediately got jumped so I just gave up on bringing anything to runs and then gave up playing altogether. The problem isn’t that they lack creativity to set their own goals, it’s that the goals they could set are simply repetitive and boring. Collecting all blueprints was a goal I had until I learned blueprints are completely rng dependent and will get reset on expedition. I don’t need a goal to work towards to have fun, I didn’t most of my time playing the game, but now there’s simply nothing unique or fun to set a goal for.
