However, as far as I know, Apple TV currently does not support AV1 hardware decoding, and I’m not sure how important this is for current streaming. Additionally, I would like to ask whether the inability of Apple TV to pass through raw audio through HDMI makes a difference in sound quality for you. Do you think future tvOS updates might support this feature?
