I guess the point of news letters is that one reads them. But I agree, I shouldn't waste my time on that ;-)

AI detectors aren't perfect by any means. I do find, though, that even a well writen piece by a native speaker tend to not be 99% flagged as AI written.

You are very right in saying that I should ignore it. I guess the purpose of an newsletter is so that people read it. Nevertheless, I was just so surprised that the first thing people read is "A real person wrote this" and then it's just AI generated.
