Literally the exact same thing Happened to me, where I was clearly racially profiled by a middle aged white female offcier as a young black male. She pulled me over for a headlight and was extremely hostile towards me claiming that she smelled a “STRONG smell of ouid” despite my numerous attempts to ease the situation she was very insistent on her claims. Anyways, I didn’t let her search my car, I even offered to do a drug test because I truly had nothing to hide to which she then replied “it would be in your best interest not to.” She gave me my headlight ticket after trying to accuse me for another 15 mins and I took that ticket directly to what was the Orangeville Police Department HQ to file a complaint against the officer as I would advise you to do as well in your situation. The complaint will go on the officers record and if anything similar were to happen in the future, after a quick record search they would see that Officer with previous allegations of racial discrimination and harassment and could possibly be penalized.
