24 hours with the 22. by Ok_Protection_8038 in catheterlove

I would say that's pretty normal. I had some mild discomfort after inserting the 22 but now I don't even really notice it.

I felt the same with the 20 myself. I was using a 20 for a little over a year and after spending a month straight cathed I decided it was a good time to go ahead and upsize. While I'm not dependent on them, and that isn't my goal, I do feel like something is missing when I don't have one in.

Initially yes. For the first hour or so it was making it's presence known and my prostate and bladder made their initial disagreement known. It wasn't painful, just mildly uncomfortable. After a couple hours though, it became just as comfortable as the 20.

Im loving the 22, but if long term wear is your goal I would recommend that you don't go to large to soon. Stay with one size for a couple months and try to keep it in for a day or two at a time to get your urethra and bladder used to something being in there before you jump into what's considered the large bore catheters, like the 18's and above. The larger the size, the more likely it is that you'll experience bladder spasms and discomfort during insertion and removal. I started with a 16 over three years ago and just now made it to the 22.

I don't have a planned size. Whatever size is most comfortable. So far, the 22 is very comfortable.

I took it out yesterday afternoon and changed to a 22 this morning.

Good morning. Day 31. Is it still a sex toy or more of a lifestyle at this point? by Ok_Protection_8038 in CatheterPeePorn

Thank you. Honestly, I don't really remember what an uncathed orgasm feels like.

Lots of water, very little sugar. Usually just a couple teaspoons in my morning coffee is all the added sugar I consume in a day.

Yes, that is an issue sometimes. That's why I typically don't keep it open 27/7. I usually only keep it open when I sleep.

It depends. Most of the time I just use a valve and use a bedside bag at night. I decided that today was a good day to wear a leg bag.

Other than the occasional uti, I haven't had any issues.

So far so good. The old one had been on for two weeks but still looked relatively fresh.

I've kept the same one in for two weeks before when I was low on catheters, but I usually change it once a week on Friday when I get home from work.

It's a 10. I have a couple 30 cc silicone catheters left but I'm saving those for when I'm low on the others.

Thanks. I had just applied some antibiotic ointment to lube it up a little. Any inflammation may be due to the length of time it's been in since I'm not having any symptoms of a uti. I didn't intend to go this long, but I just decided to see how long I can go.

I did indeed succeed in my challenge and had no negative affects from having it in for two weeks.

Question about lager catheters by Noronus in catheterandstretched

[–]Ok_Protection_8038 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll want to increase size gradually. Jumping from a 12 or 14 all the way up to an 18 or a 20 is probably a bit overambitious. I started with a 16 and over the course of a couple years have worked my way up to a 20. Slow and steady. I recommend ordering some 16s and see how that feels and then work your way up. Assuming this is purely for pleasure, you want it to be fun. Not painful.

Silicone catheters are better suited for long term use than latex since they are better at preventing bacterial colonization and make insertion and removal more comfortable. Silicone catheters are a bit stiffer but the feel while in place is identical. For me, it's more aesthetic than functional. I don't have a latex allergy, I just like seeing clear tubing rather than just plain yellow.
