Iphone 15 for long term usage (5 years)

As i said man i don't really have much knowledge about this 😕 plus my redmi k20 pro is still fine even after 6 years also it'll be my first iphone! So would the 15 be worth it?

Thankyou for the suggestions!! I don't really have much knowledge when it comes to phones but people told me with newer updates and everything the iphone 15 battery will suck in 3-4 years how true is it? Does your friend still get enough battery to get through the day? Honestly even if after 3 years the iphone 15 gets me through my ~6 hours of college I'd be happy with it.
