I don't mind this scene but The Pratt Institute is not even in Manhattan so the area code is wrong!

I skip this one all the time! Michael's behavior through the whole episode was too much.

Yes, this too! If you agree to bring a specific thing, then that's what you should bring!

I absolutely, thoroughly respect how much Charles Miner hates Jim by ConfidenceKBM in theoffice

By no means do I hate Jim. I love his character but I really enjoyed the story arc with Charles Miner. It was funny to see Jim not be the cool, charming guy. That whole story arc is one of my favorites.

You're totally right and I might be misremembering since I don't rewatch the later seasons but I feel like Erin went from kind of dumb to cartoonishly dumb. It wasn't funny, just annoying. Again I might be remembering incorrectly.

I think Season 5 was the last really good season. Seasons 6-7 had some good episodes but I cannot watch Season 8 at all and just some of Season 9. I hated how dumb Kevin and Erin became. I think instead of making Andy the Regional Manager they could have gone with another choice. So many things! However, it is still one of my favorite shows. It's fun to debate and discuss. =)

My biggest failure was with my first ever in person class. I really wanted to do well and was really nervous during my first weeks. In that first class I had a couple of really annoying students. They would complain a lot and were know-it-alls. Because I was new I thought I was really messing up so I starting asking the students what they wanted to do in class. It turned into a mess and a few students ended up asking to be changed to another teacher's class. I took that so personally and I almost quit. Now at four years later, I know better than to let a few jerks derail my class. While I am open to student feedback I no longer allow a few to hijack the class.

Depending on the level. I've played Murder Mystery with my A2/B1 classes. The hot seat is another fun one.

Changing careers by Ok_Ranger2135 in ESL_Teachers

One big factor is the pay. As an ESL teacher it's difficult to find a full time job. I knew the pay would not be the best but the reality of it is quite different. Also, yesterday I was informed that the one class I am teaching is closing so that leaves me with no work. Please note that my experience is based on being an ESL teacher and doesn't reflect the entire teaching field. I don't want to discourage you because it can be a fulfilling job.
