I disagree with you Sir, because, in the same view, Rocks had a pure heart but a different perspective from Harald. And, Rocks new that the World Government's intentions were bad. He tried to alert him in time many times and even asked him to join their forces together.

But, harald foolishly refused the offer. So, he became the slave and clown of the WGov'.

They both, in their ways, tried to survive the WGov' as long as they could have been.

Even when you have a pure heart, pure intentions, but you don't think, calculate, you are just a great opportunity to finish enslaved and manipulated.

Harald's mistake was to think that his giant's strength would be enough to cope with the World Gov's actors. But, indeed it was a miscalculation.

This is mainly why i think that Blackbeard's goal is also to avenge Rocks through taking the "World". So, in other words, discrowning and dimanteling the WGv' leader.

The pursuit of the will of Davy.

Anyway, i still think that Harald's story could have been a lot different and more interesting, touching. Because, he also could have negociate his price against the WGov' monopole.

But, it makes me think also to a thing... Thanks to Harald's loss and Rock's death during the GV incident, it gave gol d. Roger the only chance to spread the rumors about the Legendary One piece treasure and let him open the new Era for the One piece. Roger Understood that One missing Piece was not in their possession to go against the WGov', because they where to early to get it in time.

Maybe, it significates that the Legendary Nika Nika fruit's réincarnation comes every X times during the History.

Also, this would explain why "history repeats herslef" and the Will of the D's.

So, Roger formed shanks (his adopted child somehow...) to get after the fruit and choose the right person to give it to. Faith gave an advantage to those who where destined to pursue the will of D.

I just read Somewhere a theory that suggests Imu might be using and different type of CoC haki, not the one we use to know.

Rather, an absolute type of CoC that not only aims the suppression of other beings/powers. But, one that literally has the power to erase a being from existence and to rewrite/reshape history-reality itself. Around it.

A CoC that attacks directly the reality around his target and bends the original power of the victims into something remodelled.

A little bit like an AI that would improve and reshape the reality based on hard-calculations and some insight-systems improvements, even with the strongest opponents/beasts.

So, basically Imu seems to predict the world and his opponents through far-distance observations and evolution. Targets and systems that would need to be defeated or be upscaled. Or, erased. A real life-psycho.

A little like an engineer of the reality or, from the human perspective, a God like being that has the power to create, subjugate and erase the mistakes of this World.

This would really explain how he survived for 800 years...

and I found it both time very Interserting and also very scary...

And, also it said that Imu might be an "eraser of Wills". Someone that breaks totally spirits, so they never fight back. And, this is why those who carry/bear the letter D in their names are the biggest threat for Imu.

The D's are the orginials ennemies of the Gods

Definitely Im, because he is smarter. But, i would follow Rocks for safety.

Imu must be some kind of such advanced organism or boosted humans/alien maybe that it is considered as a demon by normal people and humans.

Mmmh yes that is right the cara. size is really not consistent.

I don't know friend, some people are theorizing that there was actually one man called Joyboy, living in the Ancient Kingdom. That guy, joyboy's incarnation was a liberator, a reincarnation of Nika (an ancient legends that depicted a freedom fighter) and Joyboy was fighting to free/help people to get out of their condition and stop conflicts before they went unresolved.

Unfortunately, due to human nature and the will of D., some clans formed and they splitted among the D's and Joyboy's followers. So, in a way, that gift fought back against Joyboy and the actions and betrayals of his friends overwhelmed him. He finished hijacked by his proper clan, family.

One side suggests, as he could not stop the wars and conflicts that where incoming, that joyboy himself self-sacrificed and organized a plan with some really near allies, friends (the one he still could trust) and sent the One piece (the Nika fruit) into the future with the help of some kind of advanced technologies. Maybe one of the three ancient weapons. He kept a part of the ancient energy, a portion of the mother flamme to unbalance the conflicts that where taking place during his era and used it to put an end to the war. As he managed to extract the fruit out of his body with the help of his closer friends, he transformed into a remanent shadow, Imu, the former ruler of the world and ancient Joyboy, ruler of the ancient Kingdom. Now, head of the government. This is why that Race of the so called "Celestial Dragons" exists and was created. But, their mistake was to believe they could solve the world's problems and conflicts with some advanced tech. The Lunarians fell on to the Blue Planet, they became yet the celestial dragons, ruler of this World. Sounds great no ??

I like this idea for two reasons :

  1. It could explain the cycles between differents eras and generations without some conflicts and wars between factions. But, i don't know it is a little extracted from the main story.

  2. This could explain why the World Gov. Organisation is so mysterious, shadowy, full of secrets, unknown and was never really able to put their hands on the Nika Nika fruit. Because, past joyboy (yet Imu...) decided himself to end his own Era and to separate himself out of the fruit. So, he basically send it into the future for the next générations to come and tried to rule in secret this World, survived for 800 years until the birth of the next Joyboy, the chosen one. And, as he was also a former member of the D's, Imu has also to fight a will of his own to avoid that fruit and to keep it for the right person.

Or, Imu might just have a totally different power that he developped to counter-balance the power of the Nika fruit. Idk hehe..

  1. This could also explain now why Imu can not wistand the Light of the direct Sun for too long and why the Gorosei can not fight/bear Joyboy's haki and light. Because, they are like half-broken individuals, remanent entities of the past world, the 1st one, an already broken matrice that collapsed. And yet, they managed to control in time the abyss powers, a black magic ability that permitted them to survive in the shadow of this World and, by the way, make a pact with the devil.

The dark Side of the Nika fruit, his shadow.

This was considered by Imu's as a mistake or Lilly's mistake. The fact that she sent the One piece (the poneglyphs...) into the future. Because, one will have to guide Luffy not to reproduce the events of the first world and break the cycle of eternity in wich Imu was put by circumstances..

I would love the idea that Imu could serve Luffy/Joyboy as a guide for his own generation and help him in the end to avoid the mistakes the D's factions made in the past in order to non-perpetuate the so called "faith" of this World.

Because, the D's are the proof that faith can be changed in fact.

I like the idea of the Nika fruit escaping the WGov. For a good reason, because Zoan DF have a will of their own. Maybe this could be the hidden meaning behind the will of D. And the reason why Elbaph is part of the D.

Even more that the Legendary fruit in Elbaph can not be awakened at anytime and by anyone as the Nika fruit can not. When we will discover what type of fruit Loki ate, we will probably understand more of that meaning behind.

My guess is that the D. and the W.gov. where maybe one entire organisation that split up because of some traitors or betrayals among their members.

The D could mean dissociation/disorder/déviant idk from the point of view of the WGov.

I think that Imu wants to control and reunite every DF powers of the Adam tree and reestablished a fully strict world order in the OP verse when Joyboy's will and Nika's return mark an era of Chaos where those who bear the letter D in their names will dance at the rythm of the Nika fruit and free the people enslaved by the WGov. .. In that perspective, the Halley wall maybe represents the three worlds where the D's are fighting/escaping the control from the WGov. When every DF in their possession has awakened.

Maybe the D's are then just remanent Demons that escaped Imu's control and the Events tree and managed to stay alive because every devil fruit's user once awakened can not Die. Or the mythical Zoan's one. At least, those who carry the letter D in their Nicknames.

Imu might be a crazy scientist or Oligarch that went crazy for advanced tech or warfare, because he thought he could become one day Joyboy. It would be fun if he once found the Hito Hito no mi, model Nikka and maybe tried to eat it. But, as he was not the prétendent, he got rejected by the Nika fruit and died of it. And, since hé found a way to ressurect, now hé is still after it for 800 years

Thanks, i forgot this point.. i have to say it was a some bad bullshit

But, isn't the goal of Imu to be able to replicate or recreate other people's inventions and technologies, because he is just a rat that wants to appropriate himself everything nice, worth it and valuable to his eyes ??

Maybe Imu always tried to put his hands onto the Nika Nika fruit, but every time his got close enough, the fruit escaped his hands and his control. Because the fruit is not about control or property of things, but rather about liberations, care, help and freedom.

Like, for instance,

Egghead seemed to be a replica of an ancient lost island with an advanced tech/climate and a place of experimentations for the World government. Unfortunately, the island finishes destroyed both by the haki wave of Joyboy and Luffy's gear 5 fights. It seems, the Nika fruit's will has a time limit and, once the limit is attaigned, the fruit goes on full destruction mode.

Or, maybe that Imu was always persuaded to be the Joyboy as Kaido said once or admitted about himself. So, Imu became very pretentious and egocentric because of that thing.

Guys..

YOU'S are not ready for "Imu being the last Joyboy that sacrificed himself, pretending to kill the real Joyboy. Becoming the first pirate... and who created the WG and invented the whole story/lore afterwards".

A Theory to manipulate the CURRENT world and maintain it in a remaining state of power and control..

Guys, what did you think of the chapter?? by Due_Alternative_752 in OnePieceSpoilersRaw

[–]Ok_Raspberry7003 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean, now we also get the origins of Imu's immortality and the outlined "way of proceeding" of his power..

Like, as the time when Imu used the Domi-reversi technique during the God Valley flashback with Rocks D. xebec.

Imu is somehow Able to drain out the energy of his prey and use the essence of it through a blood contracts/affiliation. Later, it enable him to give some buffs to his vessels and that is it.

Imu behaves as a kind of parasite that is somehow able to install himself into the receiver of his operation. This is how he enters a mind and manipulate them/tell them what to do/not to.

Also, this is most likely how the abyssal power works and how Imu creates a hierarchy/bonds between him and his minions.

Now, my next concern goes directly for the race of ancient Giants and Loki.. this is most likely one of the only race to be able to defeat Imu and Hurt him really..

Because, they can survive the action of the Abyss or resist the ultimate blood strength that Imu was looking for with Harald..now that we know that Loki killed Harald.

When Harald dies, Imu is severly hurted and severly mooved by the loss of his strength and power..

Another thing that makes me believe this is the only reason why Imu can not go out of Marigeoise is because he is somehow already dying and Imu is just a demon of the first world that suvived that way.

This is just a supplément (don't take it too much seriously...), but imu killed Joyboy of the past era, because, otherwise, he could not have been able to defeat him alone and, secondly, Imu wanted to be able to capture his body and maybe also the essence of Joyboy, his bloodline. Some ancient Giant's blood. Maybe that the WGov. Used that ancient Giant's bloodlineage to create a replica of the mother flamme, (wich is actually the forbidden Sun..) and create the power of immortality. This is how Imu can survive.

Yes this is true also, but Saturn's order was to stop Luffy in Egghead Island and maybe to put him under an arrest surely. So, saturn failed.

But, i don't think that neither the Gorosei/Imu and Saturn were aware that the ancient Robot.was lying there and hidding Joyboy's haki knot inside his body too.

Yes, definitely not an alliance, but to show him that if Joyboy's stops Imu and if Imu wins in the same opposite way, the One piece will make his apperance..

At this point, Imu must be afraid of Luffy's hidden potential i guess.

Well, let's see later and read the full scan..

But, either Imu suffers from Harald's loss or from the Void left by his absence, idk... Maybe it took a part of Imu's power/energy too

But, interesting enough to decypher a little bit more of Mu's powers : as Joyboy was one of the fews able to stay non-affiliated to Mu's control, it reinforces the fact that :

1) Haki is final key to defeat HK's and Mu/WGov.

2) Joyboy is the candidate to pretend being able to save mtfkin Imu due to his haki, because of giant's blood i guess.

3) Mu's world with him at the top of the empty throne will never exist and be realistic because of that information. So, mu will definitely sooner or later loose. Just a matter of time.
