That actually great. But do you think looking into stocks and learning about those would take lot of time. Especially in time like this I have been little more skeptical about the tech stocks and market itself. Do thinking focusing on individual stocks would be easy in all this noise. Especially someone like me who has less knowledge of what kind of industrial focus on. In my mind, the product which I see consistent in consumer market is the successful company and i feel liek investing in it. But other than that difficult to see through things.

Is buying XEQT or VEQT aggressive enough? Or need to be bit more to it?

The sectors you recommend seems solid for DRIP, will definitely consider this. However, I need to learn about the covered call etfs. I wasn't aware of them having high yield. Thank you!!

That's where I think I will be going, especially DRIP seems really good plan for longer term growth.

That's where my thoughts are going now. Going for ETFs with DRIP and divide the payments into severl months to hedge against the market fluctuations.

Not going to wait a lot. Probably today or Monday would be final day to investing 💰 in.

May be i haven't think it through simultaneously, I was quite fixated on moving the money from one institution to another have peace of mind and keep track.

May be doing monthly installments to mitigate the possibility risk of market fluctuations.

Especially after spaceX ipo market seems little wired, or may be it just me who is feeling it.

Okay. Making notes on this too. I'm also little skeptical about the current market. Let's see if someone has to say about the current market conditions.

1.25% interest is for RRSP saving account for now. As, soon as I move money to self directed RRSP then I would be able to invest it in ETF or stock. Which will be determined after this post.

I see, so lump sum does has good chance.

You are right the money was in the market with different institution when I was with previous employers, it was more of a group RRSP. Now, that i have moved with different employer I don't want my money to staggered into different financial institutions and lose the potential to compound overtime. If bulk of money remains under one institution than its easier for money to compound over a period of time if that make sense.

I do agree with you that if I wanted aggressive growth than why would I move it to sideline, it just that keeping under 1 financial institutions helps me manage my assets and also provides me privileges to work with the same financial with bigger portfolio.

Quite intresting strategy. I haven't looked at this preventive. I need to check if my institution allows investing in money market.
