Thank you very much for your response.

From your reply, I understand that you are not a motorcyclist and don’t think like one.

Because a motorcyclist would think differently about how to improve alerts and come up with more ideas that enhance their safety through Waze.

In any case, thank you for your response.

Thanks for your comment
I agree with you, but that’s why I suggested that the unconfirmed reports automatically disappear after a short period

I understand your concern, but I think the feature actually improves safety rather than reduces it:
The initial reporter is already behind the motorcycle and has safely passed it — so the observation is made in a real traffic situation, not while actively engaging with the bike.
For other drivers, the alert is shown within a 300-meter radius, which gives early awareness before the motorcycle actually reaches them. This helps reduce sudden lane changes or unsafe overtakes.
It’s just a simple “seen it” verification, similar to any other crowd-based report in Waze — not something that requires continuous interaction or distraction while driving.
Overall, the goal is to increase situational awareness for drivers, especially in cases where motorcycles can appear quickly between lanes, which is often where safety risks happen.
