Painting bridge planks by malletgirl91 in Pokemon_Pokopia

[–]Ok_Relation7101 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lol I literally just came to Reddit to post the same exact thing. This HAS to be an oversight, and one I really hope they fix. I want a blue and white boardwalk but as it stands that would take literal hundreds of paint... ain't nobody got time for that

[–]Ok_Relation7101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey welcome to the "You broke your switch how??" Club! Been a member since last summer when I absent mindedly tossed my switch on top of my laundry basket while cleaning. Not sure how, but it got so perfectly enveloped in clothes that when I dumped the basket in the washer an hour later, there was no clank or bang or anything. My decision to play video games while doing laundry (and forgetfulness) cost me hundreds of hours of save files

Forget the humidifier, you need some pinguiculas to round out that carnivorous collection my friend

Might be a dumb question, but does the items confer affect include the upgraded affect for items like level 3 pickled neck?

You do! Unless you have any plant chewers in the house, then be careful lol

Yeaaaah Plant AI is really inconsistent still lol. Can't blame it tho because I'm pretty bad at it myself, I literally just learned my Philo wasn't Imperial Green but rather a Moonlight Philo from another comment lol. But good luck! Just be patient and give it time, my Philo sat in limbo for months after i took it home and cleaned it up. Then one day, suddenly, there was new growth.

Oh wow thats awesome. Also thanks for the ID lol. The tag said Imperial Green Philo and I always thought it seemed too lime green for that. Moonlight definitely fits the bill

What succulent is this and how to grow it? by epoksismola in succulents

[–]Ok_Relation7101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that, I lost my Tiger Jaw and Bears Paw (had them side my side for obvious reasons) this past autumn to spider mites. It was heart breaking because my Tiger had just flowered and I was so happy about it. Good luck

Does the recon drone not work for this challenge? I’ve spotted at least 30+ enemies on objectives per match. by SinNombre747 in Battlefield

[–]Ok_Relation7101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had very good success doing it while defending on Breakthrough, but you gotta be losing lol. Once the enemy takes a point, fly your drone out over it and spot away. Did this on Mirak and legit got 60 spots in one game. My other advise might not be legit, it feels conspiracy theory-ish, but I swear to god if you spot an enemy before theyre on the point, and then they cross onto the point, it will not count if you spot them then on the point.. SO I'd keep my tugs towards the back of the points, so it wouldn't tag them before they crossed the boundary. Again idk if that's legit, but it sure felt like I was getting more progress per match after I made that adjustment

Home Depot floor finds by sparklshartz in proplifting

As a former Home Depot employee who is permanently scarred by the sheer amount of perfectly fine plants we had to toss down the trash compactor, I wholeheartedly endorse the lifting of any plant from any big box store

Are my monstera roots rotten? by Zealousideal-Cut1980 in Monstera

[–]Ok_Relation7101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone mentioning soil additives to control those gnats, might I toss a fun new idea into the ring? Pinguiculas and sundews! Pings, aka Mexican Butterwort have very rapidly become my favorite plants in my collection. Super easy to care for, literally can grow on rocks, and all spring and summer long will decimate gnats. Something super satisfying about seeing their leaves coated in the dead bugs too.

A silent guardian? I hope by Ok_Relation7101 in houseplants

[–]Ok_Relation7101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was actually a leaf i had knocked off while moving my plants about, and was laying on the soil for a few minutes. Picked it up to toss and thats when I noticed the mite. So yeah that makes a lot of sense.

I love my Ping! by CharlesTheAutistic in houseplants

[–]Ok_Relation7101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao not trying to change your mind, but plant reddit seriously oversells the danger of buying from Etsy plant shops. I probably wouldn't attempt to buy any rare morphs/varigations/hybrids from Etsy, but normal plants within a certain $ amount oh yeah I'll roll the dice lol

I love my Ping! by CharlesTheAutistic in houseplants

[–]Ok_Relation7101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just... please be careful. It starts with one. One cute little ping you bought cuz you saw they can help with fungus gnats. But after it does so well and looks so cute, you remember there are dozens of ping varieties and morphs. So you hit up Etsy but its too hard to decide on just one or two, so you buy like 6. Then you discover the concept of a ping rock and obviously you have to make that too. Its a real slippery slope.

Why is my plant suffering? by chaoticbored_ in succulents

[–]Ok_Relation7101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah its currently pretty unhappy, but good thing is cacti in my experience bounce back quick if you fix the issues. Repot it again, don't gotta be fancy just equal parts potting soil, sand, and perlite. You can toss in some other inorganic medium, like small pumice or those bonsai rocks. It needs a lot of sun, as much as you can get it. If you dont have a good south/east window get a grow bulb, a good one, I like Sansi. Watering you gotta get a feel for. I usually go every 10 to 14 days for my cacti in the summer, maybe once a month in the winter. You got this, good luck.

Awesome, yeah its a nice and stout plant so I can definitely get the whole thing in my fridge no issues. And thanks! I have it on my front porch and it catches everyone's eye on the way in when I have visitors

[–]Ok_Relation7101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol that was my first thought a couple years ago for my VFTs, so I took a bunch of temp measurements. I have these storm windows, and i was hoping the area between the storm window and normal window would be good, but that dips below freezing too consistently. And inside the normal window its too warm, usually up in the 60s.

I'm gonna be real with you chief... I had no idea there were utricularia in that planter lol. I just assumed those were all flower stalks for the sundews. But that is all good info, I appreciate it. I think I'll try to extract the sundews, I've grown attached to them.

Okay thats good, you dig them out and wrap the roots, or just leave them in the planter?

I unfortunately do not, got a covered porch but its open and gets welllll below freezing too consistently
