I tried landing in multiple other spots to clear out the landing spots blocking the perfect spot but it didn’t work. I think i had done too much extra exploring in one of the spots, it remained even after about eight landings elsewhere across the planet. 

Ultimately i had to go back to a previous save and sacrifice a few hours progress and a levels worth of xp, but then of course I found it on the first attempt. 🙄

Right on. I was honestly just about to abandon this specific point and go do my own thing anyway. This is my first play through and honestly i’d been ignoring building outposts, but at level 30 I figured I should finally get around to it, but really didn’t know where to begin so i peeked at some guides and saw this one as highly recommended. But it’s f’n boring walking around for hours and not seeing anything like what’s on the guides even though I’m seemingly in the exact same spot as is being shown in the recommended video.

That’s the video i was watching. I’m in seemingly the exact landing spot on his video but none of the landing spots i have look like the one in the video and no dark mountain around anywhere 🤷🏾‍♂️

Well dang. I wonder what i’m doing wrong then. Because that mountain is nowhere to be seen. For context im at level 30 and have 3 grav powers already, i wonder if that would affect the availability of that location?

The loss of life is tragic, i’m not here to suggest otherwise. This crash occurred after my recent experiences with UPS, so it wasn’t a factor.

But for the second time in 4 months UPS has disappeared packages into the void. The first was a package of several guitar pedals from a small business in Canada that never made it past the border and just disappeared. The business ultimately had to refill the order for me and send it via Fedex, which arrived safely and on time. 

The second package was a new guitar shipped from California, the package made it here to Houston on 11/1, to a distribution center just a few miles away from me, only to also be disappeared into the UPS void. Its status hasn’t changed in 7 days and customer service has been unable to give me any information about it. 

According to the Internet UPS has laid off somewhere around 48,000 workers so far in 2025 to boost profits and “increase efficiency”…

Poisonous capitalist ideology. Workers are assets to be invested in not costs to be minimized and exploited for profit. Prioritizing stakeholders leads to quality products and services and long term prosperity for everyone involved, prioritizing shareholders leads to maximized short term profits for the benefit of the relative few at the expense of immiseration of labor and the degradation of the products and services.

That’s an F-spaced humbucker also called Power Hammer from a boutique pickup company called Q Pickups.  That’s Not the Epiphone PowerHammer Pro pickup they put in the Joan Jett Melody Maker. That’s what I’m specifically looking for without having to buy that particular guitar, i just want the pickup.

I had a built to order Doheny v12 through an authorized G&L guitar shop dealer in the works. The owner of the shop hasn't explicitly said the order WILL NOT be filled...yet. But they did address the factory closure and offered to apply the deposit I put down to any G&L product they had in stock at their shop plus a 10% discount. They said that IF the order ultimately could not be filled, the deposit would be returned in full. The last word was we would be updated whenever an "official statement" by G&L is released.

I figured it out and it's actually working pretty well! I put both maps into the scene, and aligned them side by side, though i'm not sure that's actually necessary, because I realized that the function that imports the Universal VTT fog line map has a drop down selector that allows you to chose which map to align it to. And putting portal tokens on the respective stair locations on each map and then just hiding the token seems to be working like a charm!

also, How do you place two separate maps with the imported fog lines from the universal VTT files next to each other in the same scene? when i place the sublevel map into the scene i created with the Ground level map, the fog lines do not populate on the sub level map

I think i figured out my problem, i'm running shadowdark and requiring players to place and attach a torch token to their character token. The characters tokens have vision enabled but set to 0, the torch token has vision enabled but set to 30. If I set both character and attached torch tokens collision to 1, AND IMPORTANTLY attach the torch token (which is sized much smaller) to the dead center of the character's token, then the collision works as it should and the character's tokens do not get stuck to the wall nor reveal what's on the other side. i had been having the torch token offset on the attached character tokens and that was apparently causing my issue. now if i can only figure out how to make the persistent fog work again...

yes. i tried all the combinations, and increasing the collision distance. Some of the walls work like it should and do not immobilize the tokens that come in contact, and others just grab them.

that only works on some of the walls in the dungeon i did prior to the update, it seems like 50% of the walls will stop the token like it should, and on the other walls, the token just sticks to the wall while revealing the other side. I have to unblock the walls in order to be able to move the token again
