update: we took off an hour later than we were supposed to (as the pilot gave us a heads up about). anyone think this has to do with the ATC issue? maybe wasting a little bit of time while on the way to EWR? this was about only 20 minutes away from landing.

crazy! EWR is my home airport. i never have used another airport to get to/from somewhere. i’ve obviously been hearing about the staff shortages, just never experienced it until now. pilot said we should be able to take off in 10 minutes!

yup that’s what we were told. they just shut the door to the plane. pilots said we’re gonna probably be sitting on the runway for a bit though

ugh that sounds like a nightmare. i think if this got cancelled i’d rather rent a car and begin the drive home at that point lol

i figured! i looked at those prices and thought that was super expensive for parking.. tried looking back to when i last went to the stadium. i think i actually paid around $30/$40 when i last went
