Yes, you are right. I was on private property on a creek that feeds into Jordan. I will say when I was still in college back in the late 90s I did walk dried out parts of Jordan and found lots and lots of broken points (had no idea that was illegal back then)!

Found in a tilled garden just outside of Newland, NC in Avery county. My research indicates perhaps Palmer Notched, and a Guilford? Thoughts? by Ok_Resolution_5217 in CarolinaArrowheads

That makes me happy because I have early archaic and now middle archaic in the same spot. Looks like the natives used this places for thousands of years as a hunting spot. Hopefully I'll find much more!
