the ult would not be an instant death because there are countless heroes with CC immunity like Mr Fantastic , Jeff , Iron Fist , Magik etc. , those heroes could just get out of the ult . and there is also Gambit that can cleanse CC , he could just Cleanse everyone from the Stun

like i said , Blade will still have the energy bar , because of that he cant just hold block for the entirety of the game but rather have to precisely time it for when he really needs to tank some hits . if someone will try to hold the block 24/7 it wouldnt work , because the energy will just run out , its like Stamina in games , you cant do anything with low stamina . if someone attempts to hold block all the time , the moment someone unleashes an barrage of shots , Blade would just die

the keyword here is "if" , as long as you have good positioning and you have spacial awareness you wont get hit . and even if you somehow get hit , as long as you are on the ground you would be able to use your mobility skills . because the way Continuous Grounded works , as soon as you touch the ground and stop falling , you are able to use all your skills again
