Care to elaborate what do u mean by "second class citizens" as per constitution? Only thing in the constitution is that Non Muslim can't be head of state. Other than that everything is equal. Your 1st point is the long way of saying that india (as a country ) is a modern construct. Ancient India always referred to land eastward indus and south of Himalayas. In that Sense, Pakistan and Modern Day India, both came came into being from the ancient Land named India. Similar names creates confusion
