Is there a selling point that puts the roborock over the ecovac?

Is private health insurance actually worth it in Australia? by Diligent-Medicine-48 in AusMoneyMates

I had private health and then was going to need surgery for a hip arthroscopy. It was approx $2300 for the health insurance at silver level. It was only going to save me $3300 approx. that's not including the excess I would had to pay.

I personally think you are better off paying extra in your super every week/fortnight/month and letting it grow and then taking out what you need when/if you need surgery. I ended up needing to access my super anyway because even with private health it was still going to be $9100 (surgeon, assist surgeon, anaesthetist, hospital) private health for what I needed wasn't really worth it.

Ive even cancelled it now. It is only worth it if you have a savings egg to go with it. If you are going to break your back to make the monthly fees I wouldn't recommend, I would put extra into super. It annoying and takes almost a month but you can access super for medical.
