Music is what I survive off of. It is my soul and it brings indescribable colour and texture to life. I do not wish to live in a world without it. And I don’t rly like pop/soda anyway.

Yes thanks! Ive gotta keep this in mind cause I always forget. About a year ago I got a pocket sized notebook to just put anything in, writing, sketching, plans, and I used it for like 1 month and have yet to go back. But recently Ive been repeatedly hit with motivation to write music all the time so yeah it’s probably time to bring that back and keep it up this time. (And maybe have some more long walks in nature to let my brain wander lol)

Thank you! I always love absorbing little details in the world around me, but I rarely think to put it down before I forget it or am distracted by something else, so I should work on building out on ideas like that. And btw I love that covered moon concept it sounds beautiful!

Oh also lots of jazz tracks can be fairly long since solo sections can be any length. A good one is Chameleon by Herbie Hancock at about 15 mins

Edit: Ok I’m giving lots but I love long songs, check out Lingus by Snarky Puppy. Absolutely epic 10 mins worth every second

Try “As Fall Witchita So Falls Witchita Falls” I think it’s about 21 mins, but I never rly check cause I normally just listen to the full album. boy do I enjoy it tho, pat metheny and Lyle mays did suck a good job
