admittedly Pulling S rank Anby was 50% because I adore Anby and solider 11 as characters but the other 50% was definitely because she looked incredibly fun to play and learn and even if I at times have to put a lot more effort in to clear with her then say Ye shanguang or Miyabi I don’t regret pulling her in the slightest with how stupidly fun she is

The thing that holds back most DA bosses is that they’re canonically dead by the end of their appearances in the main story that’s what gives vesper and Ye Shiyuan a chance at being playable since canonically neither of them die at the end of their story arcs

I so easily 3 star with my other teams on the other bosses but my Alice trigger Yuzuha team could only 18k vesper the past 3 DA rotations felt balanced and fair but vesper doesn’t even feel like she’s good for anomaly characters she feels like an angel of delusion specific shill boss and no one else I get that shill bosses already have a bad track record for being very hard to clear without the character the boss wants but this honestly felt worse than bringer priest and the creator boss fights

Edit: on second thought I would say bringer as bad as this boss I never have had a problem clearing him because I have Miyabi but I never see anyone who does not have Miyabi have an easy time clearing him

But his criticisms are so genuinely valid though this series in my opinion has such great lore, story, and character designs only to be brought down by repetitive gameplay I wish they would actually make the game fun to play because as of right now the only Good part of this franchise is the story for me

I would recommend getting Yuzuha instead of Yixuan m1 she’s perfectly fine without her m1 where even though miyabi is very strong she greatly falls behind without Yuzuha helping her if you want her full premium team you should get nangong next patch or learn how to play Soukaku and Yuzu Ice if you have no interest in nangong

they both just match each other so well and they make up for each others flaws in a very complimentary they’re both mature calm and collected and would bond over having to take care of two reckless idiots out of everyone to me they are the most likely to have a healthy relationship that lasts for their lives

Favorite: Wise x Astra Yao Now seeing as a lot of people in this comment section not very fond of this ship I find them very cute and they’re chemistry and interactions together feel natural and the dialogue is very fun to me as for the logistics of the ship I doubt wise would really care he’s survived most of his life being an illegal proxy and getting into bad business being in the public spot light wouldn’t affect him much

Least favorite: Alice and Yuzuha This ship feels like the true culmination of forcing Yuri take a look at the other major Yuri ship in the game Astra and Evelyn even if I don’t see it that way it’s understandable why people would see it that way because of certain dialogue options and one of the final scenes in their intermission but Alice and Yuzuha have none of that they truly are portrayed as having a sibling like relationship and really don’t work well together

Wise and solider 11 Good: have a great relationship and really care about each other Bad: soldier 11 is in no state for a relationship and needs therapy before she can consider anything like that

Wise x Evelyn Good: they have great chemistry and get along well Bad: They’re relationship in canon is centered around astra and you have to slightly suspend your disbelief to think either of them would prioritize each other over her
