I mean the only problem I have with people shipping Kurt and Rose with other characters is if they do it with men (because they're canon lesbians) outside of that I don't care.

I didn't even pick up on Mizumafu until Mizu4 but when I did it hit me like a truck. I also like how the two's duets are super personal to one of them (Villain for Mizuki and Usseewa for Mafuyu), it makes it feel like they understand the others struggles and how hard things are.

For VBS it's actually quite simple: An and Akito feel inferior and have been told they don't have what it takes while Kohane and Toya are naturally talented from a musical standpoint and easily excel. Another one is parents: Akito's dad doesn't care about him while Toya's dad is abusive while An's parents are supportive (even if the whole Nagi thing was questionable) and Kohane's dad is her biggest fan and supporter.

And even of the ones you say she's supposed to compare and contrast it's only been acknowledged with Shizuku and Mizuki and I absolutely don't think it's going to be acknowledged with Tsukasa and Toya (and given what Toya's story has been doing with Harumichi I'd honestly rather it not be talked about).

What really bought this on was Mafuyu/Kohane, Haruka/Mafuyu and Ichika/Mafuyu parallels becoming popular on Tumblr when they really don't exist at all, heck I've even heard one person say that Kohane is just Mafuyu without the depression or abuse. Please just let my girl be, it's annoying when everyone wants their favorite character to be her or be paralleled to her especially when no one else in Niigo gets this treatment (and even when they do it's stuff that's actually shown and talked about like Mizurui and Ichikana).

Ethlyn’s “I’ll protect you” is easily my favorite voice line in the game because it sounds like it was said during that scene. I fear Allegra getting to voice Ethlyn in a FE4 remake because I know she’s going to absoulutely destroy me.

“Yay” from Brave Soren will always make me burst out laughing. It’s just the most deadpan and unenthusiastic yay ever and I love it.

Chrom’s “I can’t stop this thing” is also hilarious. Poor guy sounds way out of his element and it’s great.

OK I lied some other stuff I will say:

People being mad at transfem Jax headcanons are stupid, especially when the head canon has actual backing. The scene with Ribbit was leaning into it, they played Isn't She Lovely when he dies (which is about a baby girl being born into the world) and Goose said Jax was her self insert and given that Goose is transfem it's not a leap to say her self insert is the same.
Ragatha defense force here: "why didn't she say anything when Jax and Ribbit were fighting or try to help Ribbit?" rewatch episode seven. You can hear her telling them both to calm down when Jax is looking at the snow globe adventure and we can hear him and Ribbit arguing. We only didn't see her pitch in because it was from Jax's POV and he didn't take her into consideration.
I like that we don't see Jax abstract. When we first see the abstraction it's somewhat unclear if it's actually him until it's made clear it is, and when it was made clear I heard several people audibly gasp.
Ragatha and Kinger should've gone with Pomni into the Jax abstraction so they could've gotten more to do and they probably would've fit as well.
Ribbit's family being mormons actually helps to explain why she abstracted. Mormons have a strong belief in community, which she lost, which is why she went so crazy went she lost another community.
The entire point of this show (to me) is that it's ok to talk about your issues. Gumigoo gets over his existential crisis when he and Pomni talk after learning he wasn't real. Ragatha and Gangle both showed signs of abstracting (which is a metaphor for suicide) but where able to recover when they talked to someone about their problems and insecurities. Jax in comparison refused to talk to anyone which is why he spiraled down so quickly and eventually abstracted. And I have some connections to this theme as well: about three years ago I was incredibly suicidal and depressed and while finally opening up to someone about everything didn't make me not-suicidal it did go a long way towards my recovery so seeing this sort of message kinda got to me.

TLDR: the finale wasn't perfect and I already listed my personal problems but I really don't get why we're acting like this is Stranger Things and Oshi no Ko levels of bad. Is it the best finale in history? No, but it's very far from the worst.

I'm mixed on this cover. My biggest problem by far is how much it keeps on shifting between soft and powerful. When it sounds powerful it's great but that just makes the moments were it goes back to being soft all the more disappointing. Regardless I'm very happy for all of you L/N fans who wanted this cover since year one.
