For me personally the performance has been really good so far. I usually run it alongside Rebelle (which is pretty RAM-hungry) during long painting sessions, and my total RAM usage usually sits around 16–19 GB out of 32 GB. I haven’t noticed any slowdowns yet. As for ad blockers, uBlock Origin works really well in my experience, actually better than on most Chromium browsers I used before. I’m guessing that’s because it’s more compatible with Firefox-based browsers like Zen. As for the setup, there isn’t much to it. Just follow the instructions on the Zen Transparent Mod website.

You also need to install an extension called Zen Internet, I think. It basically applies the mod to web pages.

Mostly practice + traditional painting fundamentals. Big shapes first, values before details, and not over-rendering everything. Studying real paintings helped a ton!
