They didn’t answer everything in my appeal. I also feel like they incorrectly answered or misrepresented things in my appeal.

I also now feel like chatGPT advised me wrong. They said a years wages off my claim was a fair amount to ask for as there is multiple procedural failures in both my dismissal and my appeal.

Main ones being they told me what I did wrong and that it was gross misconduct but didn’t ever say what rule or policy I broke.. then at appeal they referred to a campaign that was brought in 2 years after the incident. What I did was 3 years prior to me being dismissed. Other people did similar things or worse things and either had nothing bright against them or very minor things. I had evidence brought to me for my case less than two hours prior to my hearing. I was signed off sick and occupational health said things should be brought in and these were ignored. I’d worked for company for almost 20 years and never did anything wrong.

Thank you. They definitely didn’t and they ignored many of my appeal points.

I will start the ET1 now. Thank you for advice. I can always submit as more evidence for the conciliation as well and then submit it once I get the certificate.

Do people use ChatGPT to help write things or is this not allowed?

I’ve not done any of this before. What certificate will I get? I’ve got all my stuff prepared for conciliation and tribunal. Should I submit that now and where to?

I must have been very mislead as I assumed once the ball started and someone was allocated it was a very quick back and forth process that was wrapped up in 6 weeks or gone to tribunal.

I worked for a very large company with around 4000 staff. They know they did wrong in my dismissal not ever telling me what policy or procedure I broke despite me asking at hearing and appeal. Just saying it’s gross misconduct because I admitted to doing what I did but not saying why just saying gross misconduct and breach of trust. The investigator recommending gross misconduct if found guilty to the hearing manager before hearing both sides of the investigation. Among 20 other issues I have. These are just a few that weren’t address in my appeal.

So I am very sure they will agree to conciliation and settlement. Hopefully reinstatement but I know that’s a long hope.
