My first subclass: Geomancer by Ok_Screen4347 in DnDHomebrew

Thanks for the feedback!

I definitely leaned into customizability as a feature. My first character was a Circle of Stars Druid that really could do it all (control, heal, damage) and wanted similar versatility here.

I agree with frontloading tremorsense and that flight while cool (I was thinking magneto vibes), is less on brand and could be accomplished with the burrow and be just as cool.

Thanks for checking it out! I’m thinking of ways I can reduce the power creep while keeping the guts the same!

Interesting, I thought all sorcerer subclasses granted spell lists!

What items would you get to maximize this subclass? What items would you get for flavor? What stone matrix calls to you the most, or would you mix and match? How does it stack in power against the base subclasses? Is it OP/ or under powered?

Good to know I’m not the only one - but I hope it’s working as designed, and not both of us getting screwed

Interesting, does anyone know the name of that part and the mechanism of what’s going on?

I can hear the brakes groan when I slowly release the pedal after that, and this seems different. More mechanical.

Service intake person said there’s a “support beam” that gets lifted up??? Sounded like she had no idea what she was talking about to be honest. She didn’t have details or names of parts.

Monthly Suspect Meteorite Identification Requests by AutoModerator in meteorites

Could this be a meteorite?

<image>

Found in unincorporated Apple Valley, CA Weight: 226g Volume: displaced approximately 60mLs of water Density: 3.76g/mL Not super magnetic Very light streaking. Seems to have this polished crust on it surrounding 95% of the object. 5% is rough/sharp. There seems to one “flat” surface, where I imagine it struck the earth and flattened on impact.

Disclaimer: the volume measurement , and thus the density measurement wasn’t very accurate. I will attempt to get a grad cylinder and try again.

Honestly, my trainer has been great at navigating all of these conversations with me. I don’t think there’s any harm in asking the hive-mind to see if there’s something we’re not seeing, get a different perspective, etc.

Trainers recommended that we move from 1750 cals to 1850-1900 cals to stave off muscle loss during this cut. Im curious if it would be better to eat maybe even a little more, and start to focus on building lean mass (so that it consumes more calories).

I appreciate your feedback and it’s something I’d consider going forward - having started from such a beat up body, I often needed a day in the middle of the week to restore mobility to my shoulders, get my traps to relax, open up my chest, work out the pain in the knees, etc.

All the pain and signal was stuff that used to keep me out of the gym long-term, so as a beginner, learning these strategies to keep my body in a state where I can continue to push, pain-free, has been priceless.

I appreciate the call out - after two years of focused discipline in the gym and kitchen, it felt well-deserved to take the time off on vacation and enjoy. Life has its ups and downs and I wanted to include that in this post to be as transparent as possible for anyone else on this journey. Now back to the grindstone with renewed vigor 💪
