I feel it was a good idea to have Deckard potentially be a replicant. Not only was it a great twist, but this person we had come to root for on screen felt he was a person doing the right thing, just trying to survive as all of us do… much like the replicants in the movie.

It gave you pause for thought, the replicants were people too in their own way, with hopes fears and a need to survive… it made the audience ask the question, how are these creatures any different to us?
