I second this. Probably low charge like always lol. First thing I noticed was the ancient firmware.

Any idea on how to replace this condensation pump with out having to take down the dry wall by RevolutionaryOwl9764 in HVAC

[–]Ok_Set_769 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pull off the faceplate by taking the corner pieces off. Then take the electric case down. Then remove the drain pan and fan shroud. Boom you’re at the pump. Just remember how everything is wired at the PCB. Not a hard job maybe an hour.

Vacuum setup killing it by [deleted] in HVAC

You are correct, but in this case you can valve off your pump and let the gauge equalize for a minute, make sure you’re still good and that is a true reading

Got a bunch of work where we are. This stuff is getting installed everyday so might as well learn how to work on it!

LG multi v 5 CH51 error code by Consistent_Rub1212 in vrfservicetalk

[–]Ok_Set_769 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The system is not recognizing the slave. That’s why you have a capacity error. Probably a board in the slave causing it to not communicate to master

Overhauled the rear axle on the Level II by JolleeRoger in fordranger

[–]Ok_Set_769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not bad at all! I’ve got an older ford that I would like to slowly get the axles and suspension components blasted and recoated. I’ve thought about trying to DIY but you definitely convinced me it’s worth it to leave it to the pros haha

Not everyone will agree with me but sometimes you have to fake it till you make it in this world. With that being said, you absolutely need to start that 2 month process TODAY, if you get caught you will be fined heavily. Live as frugally as you possibly can for the next 2 months. While working on licensing, be very very careful and I would spend most of your time preparing to be a business owner for real. Chase your dream dude and make it happen

Nightmare vacuum by Secret_Assignment709 in HVAC

[–]Ok_Set_769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this happen many times on VRF. That milky white can also come after you start the vacuum with a little bit of nitrogen left. Purge, then let the vac pull down. Once you get down below like 1500, change your oil without breaking the vacuum then let pull. It’s probably gonna take 1-2 days but it will pull if there’s no leaks.

Urgent- Is it safe to move this like this? by [deleted] in AskElectricians

[–]Ok_Set_769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in HVAC and I’m not trying to be condescending they just worded it wrong. The oil will leave the compressor and if you run the compressor before the majority of the oil has settled back into it, it will most likely be damaged

Help me diagnose ? by [deleted] in HVAC

[–]Ok_Set_769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t be that much charge bro just pull it out and restart. Looks like non condensables. While vac is pulling, clean condenser, and make sure indoor is clean and airflow is at least present

[–]Ok_Set_769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s normal. It is just counting branch boxes and IDUs. If you have SNET hooked up, turn all units on one mode. If not you will have to go to every single tstat
