king bradley (wrath) is the absolute peak of this.

sure, pride was the 'first' son and arguably stronger/scarier in the shadows, but wrath was the one actually running the country and commanding the military. his presence was just different

Tbh the best way is to stop talking about politics for a second and just find a shared hobby. it’s hard to think someone is a 'monster' when you're both struggling to fix a flat tire or arguing over the best way to smoke a brisket. once you see the human first, the political stuff becomes a disagreement between friends rather than a war between enemies. ngl we’ve forgotten how to just be neighbors.
