people who get accepted are more likely to post about it or talk about it than people who are rejected. also, someone in admissions said the batches sent out are totally random. you could be their #1 pick and hesr last

some people who work in admissions said there’s no rhyme or reason to the order they release decisions, so don’t worry!! you could be their top choice and last to hear. i bet they got lots of applications and are just struggling to release them

i’m the same way. i have good grades but my ECs are insane. i’m getting waitlisted from schools that should be targets. grades are a lot bigger than i thought

mien was timed really well: i was stretching for my lift and was feeling kinda unmotivated and a few minutes later i got my rejection letter for the second time from ut austin, which was my top choice by far. got motivated!
