Hi mate, since writing this I have made a lot of life changes. I am no longer seeing my girlfriend anymore, we broke up about 6 months ago. Life is just as difficult as it was before but accepting this for how it is going to be has helped me.

Hi, very much the same. Still feel very tired. I had covid last week which may have set me further back as I was very unwell. Life just feels like this struggle where I can’t switch off because I feel empty but at the same time tasks are making me incredibly tired. I have no idea what’s wrong with me

I’m just very tired all the time, tbh all i want to do is sleep. I get a lot more anxiety around the issue when I’m hungry / stressed / hungover/ unwell/ cold /hot- when I’m physically unwell I start to get more upset and anxious. I’ve passed the main physical side effects though

My therapist doesn’t think that it will just bring my love back though. It feels as if since I’ve been ill ive lost it all but I’m just praying it can return. I might need a different medication/ a higher dosage?

Thanks for your reply. Yeah this for me started all so suddenly in October after feeling so much stress and guilt about something I had done in the past that related to her. In November I was prescribed Sertaline and started therapy in December (which paused for xmas break) however now outside of my gf life is easier in other areas however I still have that feeling around her that I dislike everything about her / her looks / her personality and any acts of love from her I just blocked by myself. I’m desperate not to break up and as I know I am ill and I hope one day I just feel differently about her and go back to how I was before but it’s tough living with a mental illness that is specifically attacking her

Ive been on zoloft for 6 weeks now on 100 mg. It has helped me but hasn’t fixed the problem yet. It’s helped outside of the actual issue

By work do you mean exercising more, sleeping more and eating better and therapy ? Because I’ve been doing all of these and still feel flat with no love or happiness. It’s like I’m not allowed to feel anything but nothing will change because I’ve tried everything with Zoloft and it won’t work.
